There are not enough words or time to tell you how thankful I am for Clyde’s training.  I had dented my husband’s truck almost 20 years ago driving an rv, while also denting my sister’s rv.  I had a high level of anxiety, but knew I needed to learn.  Clyde made me feel comfortable and by the end of the training, I am confident in my abilities.

Thank You so much for making this training available.

Hello Mr. Mayleben – My driving lesson with Clyde Tew has exceeded my expectations.  Clyde was a thorough, knowledgeable, experienced instructor.  His manner was infinitely patient and friendly.  We discussed at length what I hoped to achieve from the lesson and20230505_100 Clyde delivered, and even made it fun.  I thoroughly enjoyed myself and believe I now have the skills and confidence to drive my motorhome anywhere.  Thank you, Clyde!

Yours truly,

Arron was a great instructor.

Course had just the right amount of time to get the basics down for me .

I feel confident that I have the skills needed to drive and back up the RV by practicing what I have been taught.

I am satisfied with RV driving school.

Sincerely,

Hi George. My driving lessons that Ken Shockley provided was outstanding. He is an amazing teacher and the lessons were everything I was hoping for. He taught me so many important skills in becoming a safe RV driver and making RV driving less intimitating. He is an excellent instructor with a lot of patience. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Thank you.

I had a fantastic experience today in a back-up lesson with Jim Pardini! He was welcoming, patient and a wonderful cheerleader. He gave me confidence and excellent tips while mocking-up different situations I encounter in a campground or camp site. I can’t recommend Jim enough—thank you!

Taylor went above and beyond my expectations of teaching me how to tow my family’s travel trailer. He was the most patient person I have ever met. He took the time to answer every question I had and I had a lot of questions! He was always on time and didn’t rush to finish a session. He even did such an amazing job of teaching my husband how to spot me for backing up into a campsite and our driveway, which I am so thankful for because we all know how stressful reversing can be.

He taught me how to handle difficult situations and made sure I even went on multiple different local roads. He had me go on several different highways too. I also appreciated the great advice and suggestions he gave while on the road. Those tips are so important because we were in the real life situations of towing and they will help me learn how to tow and be more comfortable with it.
I am so much more comfortable towing our trailer because of how wonderful of an instructor Taylor is. Honestly, I am beyond surprised and thankful how well it went. I can’t thank Taylor enough!
Thank you,

Kelly G.

I am very glad that I made the investment for RV Driving School.  I am now much more confident on driving my RV.  Martin Stevens was my instructor.  He was patient, friendly, and very professional.  He answered all my questions and addressed the issues that were of concern to me.  I learned a great deal and Martin provided many tools and tips for driving and backing up an RV.

I would definitely recommend RV Driving School and Martin Stevens as an instructor.

If you’re on the fence as to whether or not you should take an RV driving lesson (I was) I’ll tell you this was well worth the money and time spent. Highly-recommended!

My instructor was Gary Goldsberry out of Colorado. Lessons were on a 41’ Class A diesel pusher (w/a tag axle). Gary is both a motorhome owner and in a previous lifetime possessed a CDL. He is also an ASE Certified Master Technician, all of which combined to enhance my learning experience. He was friendly and patient with a lot of knowledge and experience and took time to listen and provided answers my questions that were clear and easy to understand.

The 1st day was spent discussing CDL-styled pre- and post-driving checks — a must for a big rig — as well as driving and maneuvering in tight places. This was done in a large parking lot so there was no concern with hitting anything, but parameters were set in order to learn how to maneuver in confined spaces. I learned how tight I could turn with the help of the tag axle’s proper usage, which the Freightliner manual doesn’t cover. Yeah, the manual explains the functions, but not how and when to use them; this is where Gary filled in huge gaps in my understanding; priceless! Day 2 was spent going into the Colorado mountain’s tight and winding roads headed uphill and down steep-grade highways on the way back which is where I learned better use of the vehicle’s engine braking system.

Although I only address a few highlights above, both days were filled with great instruction on myriad topics; many of which I immediately put to use on the trip out of town. So, no matter how much you think you know or how comfortable you feel behind the wheel, it was great hearing another point of view on things I understood and instruction on the things I didn’t know.

Did I mention highly-recommended? Take the lessons, you won’t regret your decision! Thanks Gary, much appreciated!

Mike Wertz provided training to me so I could begin sharing the driving on our 45’ class A motorhome.  The size was daunting to me and I felt some proper training would help me feel more comfortable.  Mike was fantastic to work with in this experience!  He created a safe environment for me to learn, provided numerous scenarios to gain experience in all sorts of driving conditions, and boosted my confidence significantly.  Day one took me through trip preparation and lots of hands on driving experience on city streets, highways, neighborhoods and back roads.  We also found a large parking lot and practiced numerous turn techniques.  Day two was more driving experience, but he also showed us how to properly weigh our coach and determine correct tire pressures.  I even drove our motorhome in and out of our rather tight storage facility, which is something I didn’t think I would feel comfortable doing prior to training.  Mike was very informative, calm and a great cheerleader.  For me, this was the best investment in helping me enjoy our motorhome even more.  We leave on a long trip in the next couple of days and I’m looking forward to doing half of the driving!  I can’t recommend Mike and this course enough.
