Driving Instruction
In our driving lessons we utilize no books, no videos and no classes. They are designed to make you more confident and safe on the road. We teach you behind the wheel of your own RV and ensure you have the knowledge and training you need to arrive safely at your next destination.

Safety Seminars
At major rallies we put on safety seminars. This is a must seminar for everyone! You’ve been driving since you were 16. You have driven your RV for years. Basically, you feel you are a really good driver.

Commercial Instruction
We have instructors who provide safe driving lessons to companies who have RV like vehicles. These instructions are tailored to your needs and are usually conducted on your site.

A few weeks ago my husband and I took the 2 day RV Driving Course in Florence, Alabama. Our instructor was Jimmy Johnson. Jimmy was extremely knowledgeable and professional, but was also so personable he felt like a family friend. Neither my husband or myself could picture ourselves backing up our 32 foot RV, but with Jimmy’s guidance we were able to do it in one try. We also backed the RV up further than we have ever driven our cars backwards. We learned a great deal in those 2 days, much more … Read more

We recently completed the two-day class in Sanger, Texas. Michael Stewart is a great instructor. He assessed our individual capabilities and comfort levels and assured that each of us were given the instruction to acquire the tools to gain competence and confidence. Several simple things such as – proper mirror settings and backing techniques – have improved our driving experience. We have recommended the class to several people and will continue to do so. We look forward to meeting you at RV… Read more

I wanted to write and thank you for arranging our lesson with Steve Mulcahy in Palmdale, CA and to comment on Steve’s great instruction. He was very patient and never put us in a position that he didn’t think we could handle. He was excellent in accentuating the positive while providing constructive comments when things weren’t going correctly. His attitude and experience gave my wife & I more confidence even before we began the lesson(s). The confidence his lessons gave us will remain with us f… Read more

Our refresher class was great, exactly what we needed to have skills and confidence driving a new-to-us class A and towing a car. Steve was very generous with his knowledge and advice, and we are so glad we took this class. Thank you so much for making it possible for us to drive with confidence and feel safe and assured in our travels.

The training was very useful. Our instructor, Paul was knowledgeable and did an excellentjob of working with both my wife and me. We began our training in a parking lot then moved to on-road both highway and expressway driving. We spent a considerable amount of time backing up and learning to work in tandem with one person outside the coach giving hand signals. I feel much more comfortable driving my new 36’Tiffin. I would recommend RV Driving School to anyone new to driving a RV.… Read more

My husband thought I knew enough to drive our 40′ home on wheels but taking it on 2 lane roads, through towns, or getting fuel wasn’t going to happen! My instructor, Greg, encouraged me to face my fears and guided me through all those situations and more. While I am not exactly eager to do those things, I know that I can do them all safely and help my husband with the driving. Thank you! P.S. My husband now says that the lessons were well worth it.

RE: Jerry Caldera. Jerry was such a breath of fresh air. When he found out I was a single woman traveling, his main concern was my safety and how I needed to protect it. All great information, even though it was common sense, as a single woman, I really appreciated what he said. For the next 2 days, he drilled me for 4 hours a day on correct turning conditions, parking and everything else that goes into RV’ing. He helped me pump gas and wash my windshield, and even though I am handicapped in … Read more

We have had our Alfa for nine years, and I have never once driven. I had my lesson with Dan Sheppard yesterday, and though I was nervous before, I was completely comfortable throughout the lesson. Dan was clear in his instruction and I very much appreciated his patience. I learned how to drive safely and had fun too. And Dan gave Bob several tips that he said would help him a better driver. We highly recommend RV Driving School
