Our instructor, Tim was very professional. The lessons were taught in an organized and thorough manner. We learned valuable information that will allow us to be more confident whenever driving our RV and to make it a much safer experience. Tim taught us techniques for backing into a site or parking place; the element of repetition (guiding us through each technique several times) gave adequate learning time. I rate the overall experience excellent and would recommend the RV Driving course to everyone.Thank you

Normally I am not one to struggle with words but it’s been difficult to adequately describe just what it means to me, not only to have learned how to safely drive my 36’ diesel pusher, but to have gained that experience under such supportive conditions. Having someone knowledgeable go over every detail of operation on my rig (seriously, not one button or latch was left undiscussed), as well as educating me about the many intricacies of RV life, was worth the time and money it took to learn. Enough praise cannot be awarded Randy for all the professionalism and patience he exhibited throughout all points of contact. He somehow managed to take a very intimidated, hyper-ventilating, overly caffeinated woman with a million questions and not simply fill her with confidence in both knowledge and ability, but to convince her that she was always capable is masterful. After suffering a physical disability 5 years ago, to be ‘able’ and mobile (and safely so) is a gift beyond value. With an abundance of care for me, my safety and that of everyone with whom I interact, Randy has reopened the world to me and I am exceedingly grateful.

Hi, must say that Jordy was great to work with. I learned much from him and feel much more secure on the road. I would recommend Jordy to all that want to come out extremely satisfied.2016 Winnebago Vista LX 35′

Bev C.Tim Armstrong guided me thru two days of lessons on October 9 & 10th.
Learning to maneuver our new RV wasn’t as difficult as I anticipated but Tim had tons of advice on situations I would never have thought about. His instructions and advice was certainly invaluable. The day after conclusion of his schooling, we camped a week at Grapevine Lake and next day, we left in the RV driving to Rochester NY to pick up our newly cloned kitten! We would never hesitate to recommend Tim for anyone needing or wanting an Rv driving instructor!

Thank you for the opportunity to give feedback. Our instructor worked well with us. The lesson plan was thorough. My wife had NEVER touched the steering wheel, and she now feels capable of splitting the driving. The instructor helped me develop my skills and convinced both of us that I did know what I was doing. We are much better owners now. Looking forward to completing our licensure and using our coach.

I took 8 hours of training, 4-hours each times 2 successive days. I can’t imagine having started driving without having taken the training first. We have a motorhome that is 36′ and 12’3″ high, and this is our first RV.Michael is a well seasoned driver who handled both the classroom (outdoors!) and hands-on instruction very well and clearly. He never appeared rushed, and was open to all questions.Your course was very helpful and is the start of me getting more confident while driving our RV.

My wife and I had the opportunity to take two days of RV Driving lessons with Mike Wertz. Mike was very professional, enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable on RV driving procedures and techniques. I took the class because my RV Driving weakness is back in parking and backing up my fifth wheel RV. Mike concentrated on both of these procedures the two days we were with him. With his instruction my backing up skills are vastly improved. From day one to day two I had a huge progress in correctly backing up my fifth wheel. Mike also showed us pointers on how to drive on narrow roads, in heavy traffic, and on the freeway. He showed us proper tire care and recommended that I purchase an infrared thermometer, which I did, to help determine if a tire is close to a blowout. Mike also took us to certified scales to weigh the fifth wheel and truck, something I have been wanting to do. The lesson was well worth the experience.

Randy Stanhope did a great job from beginning to end and beyond! This is the thank you that I wrote to him:Many thanks for your kind, patient, informative, calm – and yes – pleasant tutoring! I feel prepared to take over in an emergency – my original goal. However, I am also feeling that I’d like to get more driving experience in general, to build up my skills and confidence level. Here’s hoping my husband will cede a few hours here and there over the next 5 weeks to grant me that wish.More than that, everything went well from the first communication with Randy. Prior to the lesson which had been scheduled several weeks in advance, he checked in with me to ask if I had any questions and to be sure I had all the information needed. He showed up a few minutes in advance of our lessons; had a package of materials for me so that I could make notes as we went through the various stages of teaching; he was patient if I or my husband (who is an experienced rig driver) had any questions during the talking parts of the lessons. He inspires confidence in one’s ability to take on a massive rig and is a patient and precise coach. He uses language to succinctly and clearly convey what he wants his student to learn. Although there were a few moments when my heart rate got up there, his patient and calm presence, skills, and encouragement got me through. He did not push me but rather encouraged me to get more and more confidence in my ability. My husband, who has driven and can maneuver just about everything, appreciated that he learned stuff from Randy, too.Beyond that, he is a genial person with whom we definitely enjoyed spending several hours. Honestly, I’d rather have him over my shoulder while driving than my husband! We are both grateful for this opportunity from RV Driving School, and happy that I’ve gained some knowledge in this fashion rather than in an emergency.
