I took my driving class with Glen Barlow this past week.  Glen did a great job with me.  He was very patient and quickly identified my short falls.  He was willing to adjust his methods to accommodate my needs.  I learned a lot.

Wow! I was terrified to go to Driving school! Almost cancelled at the last moment but so happy I didn’t! I learned so much in the classroom section and was thankful my husband was able to also sit with me in both the classroom and driving portion of my class. Driving went really well and and I had enough time to become comfortable with our 40 foot DP. As full timers I know it is important for me to be able to drive in an emergency and will do it periodically to keep my comfort level up. Thank you for offering this program and for having such calm and knowledgeable instructors. I have recommended it to everyone I talk with and proudly wear my pin!

I recently signed up to take the 2-day Driving course and the Get to Know Your RV add-on.  My instructor was Max Cook.  Max was courteous and professional from our initial contact setting up my lessons until the final day.  He was flexible around my schedule which I sincerely appreciated.

My RV is a Class B Van, and I am familiar with driving the vehicle.  Max showed me how to properly set up my sideview mirrors, and confirmed that my lights and blinkers were working properly.  He observed my driving on side roads and the highway and offered tips and techniques for dealing with windage, safe following distance, allowing space for the vehicle to stop and the benefit of stopping every couple of hours to stretch and walk around.  RV traveling is not always about getting from Point A to Point B in the least amount of time.  For me, it is about seeing the countryside on the journey to where I am going and arriving safely.

My main goal was to get to know my RV as I have a fear of propane gas.    Max did not minimize my fear, he sought to put me at ease by showing me how the appliances work using the propane.  This meant covers came off and the inner workings of the appliance could be seen.  He reassured me that there are safety features in place to keep me safe.  Most importantly, he was very patient with me and allowed me to ask questions until I was satisfied I understood what he was trying to teach me.

Should I ever choose to upgrade to a larger RV, I would not hesitate to contact RV Driving School and set up a driving lesson and a Get to Know your RV add-on.

Short and to the point in my feedback.

The class was good and could be great if presentation of the slides can be provided as well.

The thing that mattered most is that my instructor Bill Anderson is surely an Instructor’s Instructor!

I and anyone else who was a part of his lessons are a much better driver/person because of him.

The entire staff that I was fortunate to be around during my time for RV Backing, Driving and Basics was truly caring, personal and insightful on so many levels.

I wanted to thank you for my lesson!  Clyde, my on road instructor, was perfect!  He was calm, patient, easy to talk to and went at my pace!  Exactly what I needed!  We had some time for me to parallel park (video attached) and simulate some tight turns in a campground.

Vic Young was a great instructor.  He was very informative with a lot of safety information.  He made it seem effortless to learn what to look for when driving an RV.  The proper placement of the mirrors was a huge help.  Truly learned a ton of information which gave me the much needed confidence when driving my new RV.

I wanted you to know that MaryAnn and I were very pleased with the instruction from Jordy Bender, our 5th wheel trainer.  He was enlightfull and gave us many good tips
and reminders as to how to drive our unit safely.  The how to’s were clear and concise.
He also was extremely knowledgeable and assisted us in understanding our unit better.  We are first time owners of anything like this and feel comfortable about beginning our journey and new adventures and becoming even better at driving the 5th wheel.

After our two day lesson with Duane we feel much more confident and better equipped to handle our RV. Duane is an excellent teacher. He took the time to explain things and answered all our questions. He had us both perform all the tasks and allowed us to repeat them as often as we needed. It was a thoroughly instructive two days and we are very happy that we spent the time and money to take this class.

I had a great two-day lesson with Brian. He is very professional and knowledgeable on all aspects of rv-ing.  He was thorough  and taught through goals and objectives. I think what was most rewarding for me was the comfort and confidence I now have for safely driving and maneuvering my new 44 foot RV.  I have not driven anything other than a car or pickup for over 45 years.
