I had my lesson with Jimmy Johnson in Tuscumbia, AL, last week.He came highly recommended by a friend he taught to drive her Tiffin motor home.My husband and I have owned a travel trailer for many years and tow it with a Ford Expedition. Although familiar with the tow vehicle, I had never actually towed our trailer. With my husband’s health concerns it became apparent I should learn to tow in case he isn’t feeling up to it.We both feel so much more at ease knowing I can now do it and plan to share the driving to keep up my comfort level.Jimmy was fantastic! I still hear his voice calmly telling me how to make that left turn without taking out the guy in the lane next to me! The entire experience was positive!Thank him for us! My hubby even learned a few things and backing into our driveway when we got home went so much better. He didn’t undo all the good he had done and I was able to direct him as he crawled back into place! Wish we had had that bit of wisdom years ago!Blessings,

We finished up our two day lesson with Max today. What a pleasure it was to be taken from a couple of newbies to drivers with confidence. Max was a true professional and it was clearly evident that he not only knew what he was doing but he could bring it down to our level. Thank you Max and the rest of the RV Driving School.
Sandy F.The Motor Home driving lessons were extremely helpful. Mack was great, very patient and really taught me a lot. Everything was very beneficial. I would recommend Mack as a driving instructor.

I have been a high school Science teacher for 38 years. For 26 of those years I was the director and lead instructor of the districts driver education program. I have a masters degree from Miami University in Industrial Safety Education which includes driver education.
I took the RV Driving School class to improve my knowledge and skill of operating a 50’ travel trailer/truck unit. Learning how to back the trailer into camp sites and our home driveway was a very important aspect.
What I experienced was RV driver education not training. Mr. Mike Wertz, my instructor is a true educator. He in every way is a person that understands eduction. He really has a teacher personality. Very friendly, positive feedback, ability to visualize and interpret situations. At the end of the program I have the knowledge and skill to handle a truck and travel trailer in normal expected maneuvering in a safe manner. I now have self confidence in taking a vacation and not have the concern of what terrible situation will occur before I get home.
Thank you RV Driving School and Mr. Mike Wertz for a wonderful experience. You get an A+.
Gregory and Sandy S.Mark Obtinario is well versed on all things related to extended wheeled vehicles.
We were lucky because we had a full year of RV ownership before we enrolled. Few students probably take RV 101 right out of gate and like them, we waited until we felt it was necessary to get expert RV driving advise. Especially help with backing up our RV!
Day one was incredibly helpful because I am a terrible “backer upper”.
You’ve heard the saying “in the Nick of time”? Only an hour after day one training, I had to back out our 35’ RV out of a Best Western hotel that had ZERO turn around capability.
We were ready and in the “Mark of time” my wife and I surprisingly backed up our 5th wheel and truck successfully into the collocated two-way road in front of this hotel.
Without any doubt whatsoever, Mark’s training was vital to that success. We’re grateful for his superior truck and 5th Wheel RV backup training.
Day two training was important as we navigated busy streets and a lot of mountain roads.
My wife and I got a lot more out of day one training – that’s not to say day two wasn’t important though.
Please Keep Mark in your “Roledex” of talented RV trainers. He’s REALLY good at this!
With respect

My husband and I purchased our 31′ Gulfstream about 2 months ago. We were nervous about driving it and scheduled RV driving lessons plus “Know your RV” with Mr. Taylor Riley. Taylor was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to go over everything with us in detail and explained it in a way we could easily understand. Taking the lessons gave us the confidence we needed and we are ready to start our new adventure and hit the road. I would recommend this to any new inexperienced RV owners. Many thanks

I knew I needed a professional driving instructor to help me build the confidence to tow our 5th wheel RV and by booking the 2 days it gave me the boost I needed to actually do this. When Steve Medlin arrived at the house on Wednesday both my husband and I were immediately impressed – so was my dog and that goes a long way!Steve not only gave me the confidence to tow the 33′ 5th wheel but he also shared so much of his knowledge and experience with both myself and my husband which we will certainly put to good use.The hands-on driving experience was what I needed. Driving around Colorado Springs yesterday was the best way to learn how to stay between the lines towing an 8.5′ wide RV along a 9′ lane with cars parked one side and heavy traffic in the left lane. Learning how to take those right hand corners and how to reverse were so valuable. I never thought I’d be able to back up the RV!Steve was very friendly, always calm and explained things in very understandable terms. This was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made – not only for me but for my husband. We really enjoy RV’ing but have been limited by my not being comfortable or qualified to drive. This has opened up the range of places we can now visit and the distance we can travel. Also it has given both of us a sense of security knowing that should anything happen to my husband I am perfectly capable of towing the RV home.My husband says every man out there should make sure his wife knows how to tow! I’ve certainly let all my friends know that I’ve done this and am pretty proud of myself. I will certainly recommend RV Driving School and Steve Medlin as an instructor. Thanks,Sally

The driving lessons were worth every penny.Steve approached all aspects with respect and timely instruction. He answered all questions clearly and took time to review each aspect of the lesson. Understanding, checking and using the air brakes was invaluable. The highway time on using the tachometer, speed and engine temperature to maintain safe hill ascents and descents was most helpful.Thank you!
Linda M.The purchasing of our RV was not planned and I told my husband that “this was the absolute worst decision we had ever made”.
I totally dispised the beast and had no plans on driving it.
I contacted RV Driving School with the hopes that professional instructions would help my husband get better aquainted with the beast.
Mr. Duane Kunz met us at our home and from the beginning we felt extremely comfortable with him. He is very professional and he has an astute understanding of the fears that some new RV owners have. To make a very long story short, within a few hours of our class, I was actually driving the “beast’ and by day 2, Duane actually gave me the confidence to drive the “beast” on local streets as well as the expressway.
The “Beast” is no long and we could not be happier with the purchase of our RV, In fact I love it and this change of heart is directly do to Duane.
Duane gave us a ton of tips on owning and driving a RV, this in is self was well worth taking the class.
We would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Duane Kunz & RV Driving School.
A huge thank you to Duane and RV Driving school.
