We took lessons from Dana on November 14th and 15th.He was wonderful, friendly and made me feel comfortable. He answered all questions and continued to instill confidence in all maneuvers. The first day was closed course. I think it would have been helpful to spend time practicing turning in imaginary intersections (both left, right) with perhaps cones were cars would be to make sure that the turn was good. That would have given me more confidence on the open road. We did make several turns throughout the parking look in both directions. However, having said that, the road drive went through the turning and made me feel comfortable and showed me I could do it.Dana was wonderful and would recommend him! I’ve already given RV driving school to some friends that bought theirs right before us.Thanks again. We will keep Dana updated on our progress.

I just completed the RV Driving Course with Tim Armstrong yesterday afternoon. I (and my wife, who was riding along) thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tim was an excellent instructor. Even though I had previously trailered motorboats and sailboats, none of them were as long or heavy as our new RV. Also, I had no prior experience pulling a trailer with a 5th wheel hitch. Since I had never owned and/or pulled an RV before, I considered this course to be critical. Tim provided all the information and training I was hoping to receive. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for this type of course.

Here is a testimonial for your website. Thanks, again!I would highly recommend RV Driving School, and its instructors, to anyone who is new to driving a recreational vehicle. This is my first travel trailer, and backing into campsites and where I store my trailer is a challenge so I was very happy to find RV Driving School to help me learn. My instructor, Larry Robertson, taught me the driving skills I need, plus shared a wealth of knowledge from his many years of experience owning RVs. I feel much more confident in driving and owning my beautiful new “second home.”Thank you!

Last week, my husband and I took our long anticipated RV Driving lesson in the Phoenix area with Jordy Bender. We are about to take delivery of a 45 foot Showhauler Super C and are a little nervous about jumping in and driving it. We wanted lessons BEFORE taking delivery. As you suggested, we rented a 35 foot box truck for the lesson as it would drive more similarly to a Super C than other rental options.
We are SO pleased with our experience and with Jordy! He was fantastic, the lesson plan was extremely useful and we learned a great deal. I can’t think of a single negative, but for the fact that the rental truck was not particularly comfortable….LOL.
We have traveled extensively in our 24 foot Sprinter for five years and have sailed a 20 ton 52 foot sailboat for 30 years. Although this is a huge step up from our Sprinter and different from our sailboat, we were hoping that our prior experience would relevant.
Jordy did a great job of relating our prior experience to driving the new rig. He also pointed out frequently how our rig would differ from the rental we were driving.
Overall, it was a great experience. Jordy was very knowledgeable and patient but did not waste our time with lessons we didn’t need due to our prior experience
We are so glad that we took these lessons before picking up our new RV. We are quite confident that we will be far more comfortable in our new rig when we take delivery next month.
Best regards,
Linda S.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the RV Driving Lesson this past Saturday provided by Shane Becker. He provided great feedback and useful strategies. Most importantly, the lesson provided the confidence I needed to drive a large Class A while making my wife feel safe and secure. Thanks,

I recently participated in the RV Driving School and had a great learning experience while developing the skills needed to drive the 30’ Holiday Rambler Motorhome we own.My instructor: Mark Obtinario was awesome! He was very thorough throughout my 2 days of instruction. He covered all aspects of the pre-check so I could have a safe trip with tires checked, and all of the various engine parts checked. He provided me with the skills I need to make safe turns in both directions, as well as backing the motorhome up so I could feel confident in parking in an RV Park space safely.I will continue to take the knowledge and skills he provided me and practice driving our motorhome safely on trips.Mark allowed me to learn from mistakes I made on the training course and feel ok with them. He’s a great instructor. My lesson was postponed a couple of times due to some health issues I incurred and the RV Driving School was very accommodating when I presented the need for changes.I will recommend the RV Driving School to anyone (especially wives of the primary husband drivers), who need to learn to drive their motorhome.Thank you!

This is an extremely late response to my driving instructor — I apologize! We have been on the road since the day after I finished the lessons and just now found the email my husband forwarded to me.My apologies again, but I do not remember the gentleman’s name (Jordy Bender) that was my instructor but he was very understanding of my need to grasp what I was trying to accomplish beforestarting the maneuver as I am a visual learner. At the end of the 2 days, I felt very confident driving our coach.
I have since recommended your school to people I have met on the road to give their wives’ more confidence in driving their RV.Best regards,

Just completed the RV Driving School sessions with Jim Fischer in New Bern NC. This was our first time behind the wheel of an RV(class A , 29ft Thor Ace rental). The experience was exceptional and well worth the cost. In addition to basic driving skills, Jim shared a wealth of real life experiences as a longtime RVer that will make our future camping experiences easier. Jim is easy going and not intimidating. The best thing about this course was that it allowed us (my wife and I) to do the driving rather than hearing theory or watching videos. That is what provides the
confidence to keep practicing and stay behind the wheel. We do not consider ourselves RV driving pros after taking this course, but we have been given what it takes to move forward with confidence and keep learning. Lynn successfully backed into an RV campsite with me giving hand signals at the end of our second lesson … smiles all around.

James A. ( Santa and Mrs. C.)Sometimes, we receive marvelous testimonials that make me, as the owner of the school, very happy! Such is this response with a little levity!
Sharon, er, um, I mean Mrs. Claus and I received OUTSTANDING instruction and camping, trailering, and checklist tips. Tim McLeod is a
wonderful and personable instructor with a great sense of humor which he inserts between most appreciated tips and suggestions. He is great to work with and Sharon and I are driving away
with a great deal more confidence in our ability to safely traverse the highways and byways of this great country!
