I am writing to provide my feedback on the above lesson that I had on 11/15 and 11/16 with Rick Bremmer, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Rick was very professional and promptly showed up at our agreed upon time. He walked me thru the items that I need to check on my Motorhome before getting on the road.
We worked on what we needed to cover each day, worked on the hand signals and then got on the road.
Rick made me feel at ease and helped me gauge my turns, parking, back/ins. On the second day, I drove a very long distance on a major highway. During the drive, Rick was telling me what to watch for, how to allow truckers to pass or me pass them, how to handle mergers, etc.
I am looking forward to driving our rig next week as we travel to California.
I highly recommend Rick to anyone considering a class with Rick. We started the class as student/instructor and ended it as friends.
Thank you

My spouse and I took driving lessons with Eric Mount on November 3 & 4, 2021 in Crossville, TN. Arrangements were made for Eric to provide the instruction where our newly acquired class A motor home was located because as new drivers we were not comfortable going to the Knoxville area where he is located. He was flexible and great to work with on finding dates that worked for the instruction. We utilized a supportive local move theater parking lot for low speed items and that was good. We then drove on both the local roads and the interstate to gain real world experience. While I have driven tanks and other large vehicles in the US Army, my spouse had not driven vehicles of this size. Eric did a nice job of explaining and guiding the technical aspects of our lessons and he built our confidence.Eric was a good instructor, he was personable and approachable and after the two days he was more than an instructor he had become a friend. We highly recommend Eric Mount and RV Driving School.Thank you,

My husband and I have been full time living in our 40’ fifth wheel trailer with a Ford F350 dually for the past five years. He has done all the driving pulling the trailer. About two years ago, I decided I wanted to learn how to drive pulling the trailer to help with the driving. I found RV Driving School through Escapees. I spent time reviewing their website and reading other customers’ reviews. After reading about RV Driving School, I decided I wanted to use them to teach me to pull the trailer. I then spent the past two years looking at their site to see if there were instructors near me as we traveled around. Finally, we were going to be in Livingston Texas and there were instructors there when we were. I signed up for the lessons and from then on received great communication from RV Driving School. We agreed upon a date and time. As it became closer to the date, I started having second thought that maybe I should not try. About a week before my lesson was to start, I met with my instructor, Tim Armstrong. He explained how the lessons would go and what I would be learning each day. He answered all my questions (there were a lot of them!) very patiently and with a sense of humor. I felt I was ready to start. The first day, Tim had explained that I would learn how to back up the trailer going into several different type of “campground” sites. I would also spend the first lesson driving in the parking lot learning how to go around right- and left-hand corners. I thought shouldn’t I learn how to drive forward first but Tim is the instruction and so I was not going to question his process. Little did I know I would be driving forward so much during the backing in instruction. So, the first day arrived along with butterflies in my stomach and tension in my shoulders. My husband drove us to the parking lot. Tim was ready for us even though we were early! We spent the lesson learning exactly what he said I would learn. He was extremely patient and knew when to have me take a break. Tim has a great sense of humor and a warm caring teaching method. I can not say enough about his wonderful teaching method. After the first day, I was ready for the second day. We arrived to the lesson and Tim started the day saying I was going to learn how to parallel park the truck and trailer (only 65’ feet). Through his instruction and patience, I was able to parallel park it after a couple of attempts. I then spent the next couple of hours working on turns, and more backing up into sites. There was about two hours left in the lesson and Tim said it was time to go on the road. So, he got out his map and laid out the route. Some how the route ended up being much longer than two hours. It was great experience besides driving straight on a highway – we went on country roads, narrow bridges over water, had to stop for fuel, and drive through large cities and small towns.I can not express enough gratitude for Tim Armstrong and the RV Driving School. Their level of professionalism along with a caring attitude made the whole experience a positive one.

I was amazed at how much ground we covered in our 8 hour session and just how much driving experience I got. I am recently widowed and wanted to determine if RVing would continue to be part of my lifestyle. I was very nervous, but determined to give it my best.First, my instructor, Eric Mount, assessed my driving experiences and we went from there. He took my experience of motorcycle riding, F350 dually driving and RV spotter blending all of this into his instructional approach. His positive approach and relaxed demeanor helped to alleviate some of my nervousness. His thoughtfulness and knowledge made my experience a success.I have now made my decision. I am keeping my RV and am confident that I can enjoy traveling in it on my own. I have been given an opportunity to continue the joys of our RV life even without my beloved companion. This was a priceless gift.Thank you Eric and thank you RV Driving School.Sincerely,
Lahonna B.

Tim is an excellent instructor. He has a very calm, unruffled and patient style of teaching that puts one immediately into ease. He was very articulate and made even the harder portion of the training, for me, easy to comprehend.Thank you, thank you again! I will highly recommend you all!—

It is with extreme pleasure that we offer the following evaluation of our experience with Ms. Joann Doane. We can’t say enough: she was so obviously knowledgeable from the very first safety review, competently pointing out things about our rig, showing us what needed urgent attention (like tires that were way too old), and explaining in careful detail why she was making recommendations, including possible consequences and potential hazards of which we would have been totally unaware without her input. She spent time with us going over hitching and unhitching (we seriously needed help) and then, she helped us face what was the most daunting to us: backing up and in. Joann was a powerhouse of a teacher and pushed us to practice until we both understood the process, and–though we are far from mastery–gave us the training to have confidence in ourselves as a team. She went with us to our RV park, where she helped us navigate into a tricky site. Our actual driving time (over diverse terrain) was filled with her going over safety issues, driving tips and cautions we might encounter on the road. In our experience, she went way above and beyond to help us, and she truly did help us. We came home with excitement about venturing out with our rig, something which had been missing.Joanne is a natural teacher and her wonderful enthusiasm was matched by her extensive experience: she is obviously an RV Pro and we knew it from the get-go. Her knowledge is broad, thorough, and so well integrated…it feels like it’s “in her bones.” In our book, she gets an A+ across the board, along with our enormous gratitude. RV Driving School is lucky to have her!Sincerely,

I could not be a more satisfied customer than I have been the last two days, having Joe Kochis as my RV Driving School teacher. I took this class three years ago and I remember not getting it. From the moment Joe Kochis pulled out a piece of paper and pencil and started explaining pivot point to me, I knew I was in good hands. For one thing, I thought I knew about pivot point but what I had not realized was that I had not known how to apply that knowledge. That’s what Joe Kochis did for me. He explained things extremely well, breaking it down the way I needed to be able to understand it, and then he told me how to apply those concepts. He is a fantastic teacher!
Joe is also a very warm and personable person. I thoroughly enjoyed my time learning, and appreciated all the knowledge and experience he imparted. Joe is a huge asset to RV Driving School and I am extremely lucky to have gotten him as my teacher. I feel very confident in my ability to drive our RV.
Thank you so much.

We took a double lesson on November 4 and 5 with Tim Armstrong, I can’t say enough about how much we both appreciated Tim’s enjoyable personality and his professionalism. I have been driving an RV for about 12 years and I learned so many little things to help me, especially how to use some aids in backing into an RV space. Deb had never driven an RV before we took the lesson and Tim had her backing up like a pro. The next day she was driving down a busy interstate and a smaller highway through town as if she had always been driving a 42’ motorhome. To have both of us able to drive makes for much more pleasant travel. We would recommend RV Driving School to anyone at any experience level.

Wanted to send our feedback for the driving lesson.Steve was wonderful. He was patient, and explained everything with great detail. He made backing up and maneuvering our 5th wheel much easier than we thought. Since our less just a few days ago, we have already used all of the skills he taught us. We highly recommend this school for anyone apprehensive about pulling a trailer or driving an RV. We were completely new to the lifestyle, never hooked up a trailer before at all. I would consider us pretty well versed at this point. Thanks for the time and attention given during our lesson. Thanks,
Jessica & Jason S.
