I had a wonderful two day experience with RV Driving School! The information gained in the classroom session was invaluable. I never thought that I would need to know so much about my coach in order to be safer in it. Your humorous stories regarding safety made the hours in the classroom session fly by!
My driving session with Clyde was also great! He put me at ease, was very positive, and instilled a great deal of confidence in my abilities. The more I drove the more confidence I gained.
He provided experiences with many types of roadways including the freeway. He remained calm and patient even as I faced an on coming semi which was in my lane as the truck began passing cars on a two lane road!
After participating in your driving school I feel much better about helping with the driving on long journeys.
Thank you for the opportunity to become a confident RV driver!

We recently had our RV training with Mr. Dana Baker. All went well with no incidents!! Yeah!He made my daughter and I feel most comfortable both towing and backing up our 5th wheel. While we’re familiar with towing a vehicle, we’ve always only towed a bumper-pull and only half the size of our 5th wheel in both length and height! Needless to say, there was some apprehension and we’re so very thankful we took the class.Dana insisted that we document any comments, whether positive or negative. We only have positive comments. He gave us a thorough overview of what to expect, asked what our expectations were, and delivered on them. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering RV driving training.Thank you for your program and thank you for hiring an awesome instructor. Thanks again!

Mr. Mayleben,
I was very happy that our library decided to contract with you in training us to drive our new bookmobile. The training I received reminded me a lot of when I took driver lessons 40+ years ago. I didn’t know what to expect with the training but I came away with a better feel for the RV and its maneuverability. I have a better understanding of its capabilities and mine now that I’ve been trained. Our trainer, Emory Macy, seemed very knowledgeable about our vehicle and the maintenance required to keep it in good running condition. He seemed to have plenty of experience driving RV’s and semis. He went over engine maintenance and our responsibilities for checking the engine, several times over our 3 days with him. He not only taught us how to fill up the truck with diesel and DEF but covered truck stop etiquette and how to wait your turn at the pump. He managed to fit in time for us to have the truck weighed on a scale so that we can re-weigh it after it is filled with materials.I learned a lot from Emory during my behind-the-wheel training. He talks a lot and I’m not sure if that was intentional or not but I was able to hear things that were important to operating the bookmobile. He was instrumental in teaching me what to look for at potential bookmobile stops: flat terrain, space to fit the bookmobile with the doors accessible, easy departure both forward and backward. I feel confident that I could make an informed decision on where to safely park the bookmobile now. Safety was always his primary concern. We added safety vests and flashlights to our cab with his recommendations. We’ll always back up with a spotter helping direct the driver in the mirrors.I don’t have a photo but someone in our organization has some. Thanks so much for the training,Lisa

We were very nervous about our driving lesson but knowing we really needed it to be able to travel in confidence. Candace immediately put us at ease! She is so experienced and not the least bit apprehensive about any situation. She communicated very well and also listened to our concerns and questions. She also had many tips on just about anything related to RV life in general. RV driving school was worth every penny!Thank you,

The driving lessons from Mark were great. We just got our 5th wheel and had only driven it home from the dealership. Other than that trip I had never towed anything in my life and was a bit nervous towing a 43ft 5th wheel.
We met Mark in a large gravel parking lot and he immediately put us at ease. I spent the first day just in the lot, with different scenarios set up with cones. By the end of that day I felt way more comfortable turning and backing.
The second day we were on the road. I practiced my turning in and out of town, lane changing on the freeway, and uphill and downhill driving on mountain roads.
Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone getting a 5th wheel, especially if they are new to towing. I have way more confidence driving now, and we are preparing to take our 5th wheel out full time for the next year.

Having never towed anything before, it was daunting to consider towing an RV trailer without having a clue as to what we were doing. And that is what led us to the RVDrivingSchool. My spouse and I each signed up for 6 hours of driver training with instructor Mike Wertz. Mike was a great teacher, and also very accommodating with our Covid protocol requests, i.e. testing and masks. We did a lot of driving in a variety of settings – construction zones with semis whizzing past to narrow country roads where you had to squeeze by an approaching vehicle. We practiced backing up and parking our trailer in an unused warehouse parking lot and pulled our trailer through a commercial weigh station. He also had us gas up and gave us some valuable insight into pulling through a gas station. We alternated time at the wheel, as opposed to each getting a separate 6 hour day of instruction. This was a great technique because it kept us from getting too fatigued – we would drive for a while and then get a break while the other was driving. We consider the cost of the training as “money, well spent”, and highly recommend Mike as an instructor.

The instructor Steve Medlin was extremely informative and professional. He provided very useful techniques and challenges to buildconfidence in towing our rig. We would definitely recommend his services to others as a top-notch instructor. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.

My lesson with Joe commenced at North Trail RV Center. I had just purchased a 44 foot Newmar. I am a UK citizen who has lived in Bermuda for the past 34 years, I drive a Chevy Spark back home where the speed limit is 35kph and we drive on the opposite (correct) side of the road. So, to say I was a little nervous getting behind the wheel of such a large vehicle was a bit of an understatement. Joe drove it from the RV center to the practice site, then the fun began.Joe’s instructions were clear and concise and cleared up the many hours of YouTube video’s I had watched prior to the lessons. Before I knew it, we were driving on small side streets, main roads and the interstate, without any worries or concerns. After the lessons I drop Joe back at his truck and he followed me to the campground where I will be staying for a few days. Drying alone after Joe’s lessons was actually fun and I was not intimidated by the size of the vehicle, (not sure I can say the same for the other road users). But seriously Joe made the operation of such a large vehicle fun with the utmost consideration to the safety of not only me but the other road users.I will be back for an additional top up lesson when I purchase my car for flat towing, early next year.Again, a big thanks to Joe.David

I had a good time. I never felt intimidated. Bill did an excellent job. I felt very confident. The training gave me (and my husband) the confidence that I can drive our coach anytime. I will surely recommend your training school.
Thank you
May God Bless you
