On February 14 and 15, I had driving lessons in my 28 foot, Class A motor home. Jordy Bender was my instructor. I have lived in this motor home for long times during the last 24 years so am familiar with the coach but had never really driven it. I left that to my husband. Now, my husband is no longer able to drive nor is he able to help very much. Alaska is our home state so we wanted to be able to go back and spend quality time with our kids, grandkids and great grandchildren. Jordy has helped to make this possible!!!

Jordy was an excellent instructor. He didn’t make me feel foolish but gently corrected me when I most certainly needed it! I was truly afraid of driving the coach but after two sessions, I feel totally confident to drive to Alaska this summer. I am so glad he was available for me. He had lots of good suggestions and hints to make driving easier. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

I am pleased to provide feedback for your instructor, Mr. Joe Powell. He was clearly knowledgeable and experienced, asked questions about my needs and wants, listened carefully to my answers, and provided instruction without making me feel pressured or rushed.

My husband and I have been RVing for the past 4 or 5 years traveling first in a Class A, then a Class C. This past summer he became ill and we sold our RV. I was not comfortable driving something as large as a Class C (I drive a mini cooper!) He had hoped to take another trip with our 16 year old grandson, but sadly, he passed away this last December.

I decided to make that trip this coming summer and am the new owner of a Class B van. I needed skills and confidence before heading off into the wild blue yonder. Joe provided both! From general safety tips and reminders to behind the wheel guidance, his instructions were clear and delivered with patience and encouragement.

He is an asset to your company. In addition, he’s just plain friendly and sincere; as well as a wealth of information! I was lucky to find him, and you are lucky to have him!

As we are fresh from our RV Driving School lesson (Lesson #13884 with Geoff Baker of Polk City, FL), we wanted to give our immediate feedback, as we feel this was money really well spent. Geoff was the consummate instructor, who made everything clear and understandable, and gave us a lot of confidence going forward. As new RV owners, we want to make sure we are as safe and secure as possible on the road, and Geoff definitely made us feel as if we now have all the tools we need to proceed. He was also an endless source of knowledge on all things to do with our coach and RV-ing in general, and he made sure we understood everything he talked about, or demonstrated, before we moved on.

It was definitely an intense two days, with a huge amount to take on board, but Geoff also managed to keep it straightforward and to the point. His expertise was unquestionable, and we have a far, far better understanding of what’s involved than we ever had before.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time with Joe yesterday. He is a patient and communicative instructor. His instructions are simple, clear, and concise. I was amazed at how well my wife listened and learned from him. He filled down time with great anecdotes, most of which were teaching us a rule of the road or lesson. I drove home with a new confidence (and fewer white knuckles) than I drove to the lesson with.

We have already recommended him to a friend and will continue to do so.

Our back up lesson with Randy was absolutely great. Randy was professional, knowledgeable and a great teacher. Those 3 do not often go hand in hand. Randy worked hard at understanding what would help us learn how to back up. Though Rving for over 6 years I have always dreaded the back up site. No more. Randy not only trained me as the driver but just as importantly trained my wife as a spotter. We were very pleased and actually look forward to trying out our new skills. Thanks Randy and thank you RV driving School.

My husband and I took a 2-day RV driving course with Shane after purchasing our Class A vehicle. We’d rented RV’s before and spent 5 weeks on a road trip in 2020 so we didn’t fully know what to expect from our training. It was amazing! We really gathered a good deal of technical expertise about our coach and learned the proper technique when handling the coach in a variety of driving circumstances and terrain. We even learned to parallel park! We would highly recommend a driving course with Shane and RV Driving School. Not only is he a subject matter expert, but his ability to knowledge transfer in a positive learning environment is outstanding. We’re so glad we took the course, thanks Shane!
