The RV Driving School was established in 1991, and our professional instructors have literally taught over 20,000 drivers of RV vehicles how to safely and confidently handle their rigs.
We have four Directors, headed up by George W. Mayleben and his wife, Valerie. In addition, Jim Mayleben and John Mayleben are also Directors and are primarily involved in the administration of lessons for owners of RVs. In addition, they coordinate our involvement with rallies and commercial lessons.
George took over the ownership of the school in 2011 and has increased the number of instructors from eight in California and Arizona to over 100, and are now proudly covering the entire United States. His background includes over 40 years in automotive safety and extensive heavy vehicle operational safety. This has put him in the ideal position to create some of the new and innovative safety programs that make our school a leader in RV safety matters. George and his wife were full-timers for ten years, living in their Class A motor homes, and will eagerly share their experiences on the road. They would characterize these years on the road as some of the best years of their lives and have made so many friends as a result of these years.

Jim and John came to the school to assist and use their extensive administrative backgrounds to aid as the school began to grow. They have been instrumental in making it possible for people to come to our website and quickly identify where and how to get not only behind the wheel lessons but additional help. Both John and Jim have extensive experience with their own RVs owning Class A, B, and C rigs along with several towable rigs.
The quality of our lessons are recognized by industry leaders and many insurance companies and, as a result, these insurers may issue a discount on your RV policy after one of our lessons!
