My wife and I completed your 2 day/6 hour RV school this last weekend in Grand Prairie TX with your instructor Tim Armstrong. I want you know of our high regards for Tim as an instructor and a professional. We had no background in 5th wheel towing and Tim has given us a solid basic foundation that we can build on. Tim was patient, attentive and absolutely knew his stuff. His parking lot basic skills activities instilled confidence in a safe environment where both my wife and I could ask questions without the pressures of learning on the road. By the second day, my wife who has never towed any kind of trailer had the confidence to drive around Ft. Worth and she actually enjoyed it. Tim’s focus on safety, skills and teaching situational awareness really impressed us. I will recommend your school and Tim Armstrong at every opportunity.
Angel & Rebecca M.My wife Rebecca and I were very pleased with our RV driving lesson. Dan Sheppard, the instructor, was very knowledgeable and patient with both of us.
We enjoyed our class and feel that the class gave us the necessary skills and confidence to enjoy driving our new 40′ diesel pusher motor coach. Dan was great at answering our questions and made it a point, throughout our lesson, to ask if we had any more questions before proceeding to the next topic.I will and have already recommended your driving school and Dan Sheppard to friends who are interested in your class. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience we had getting to know our new motorhome and how to drive it with confidence.
Christine R.I’ve attached a photo with Michael Lynch and our family.
We just wanted to let you know what a great job Michael Lynch did teaching my husband and I how to navigate our new Forest River Georgetown RV.
Michael was both professional and knowledgeable; we truly appreciated all his credentials and had complete confidence in everything he was teaching us.
Prior to the training, I literally had no experience driving our Class A vehicle except for the test drive we did on the highway. My confidence was extremely low, my husband had more experience and felt pretty comfortable for the most part.
Although, by the end of the second day, both my husband and I had done a 180 on our level of competence and comfort to head out on the open road. Michael was extremely encouraging and was sure to cover both “classroom” and application of what we needed to do to be successful for our adventure.
We highly recommend Michael to anyone who is looking for training on their rigs!!

My wife, Carolyn, and I completed the RV Driving School with Lorrin Walsh. I have the highest praise and respect for the experience we had. My wife had virtually no experience towing or backing a trailer and my experience was what I got from the dealer (not bad) and teaching myself. My wife was dreading the experience, but came away smiling and feeling competent and confident in her ability to safely tow and back our trailer. I leaned tips and techniques that I wish I’d known five years ago when we bought the trailer. Lorrin’s lesson plans were obviously well thought out and well executed. He exposed us to most all the driving and cornering situations we can expect to encounter.
In my view I think anyone who is going to tow a trailer should take a course like this.
Dave & Carol D.We recently had a 2 day lesson with Frank Piccolo, starting from Auburn Gold Country RV Park, in Auburn, CA. I’ve been driving our 2014 Class A for 25,000 miles now, and travel trailers for ~30 years before this, but still see room for improvement. My wife Carol had never driven anything larger than a minivan. We wanted her to be able to spell me on longer days, and take over in some unforeseen circumstance.
On the morning of the first day, Carol was petrified. Frank directed me to a nearby business park with good roads and almost no traffic, where Carol took over. After a short while she realized she could do this, and was actually looking forward to the second day. Frank had me drive on some winding foothill roads and the freeway, and pointed out a few things I could do better.
On the second day, Carol was driving in town and on the freeway—her goal for the class! She is over the fear now and looking forward to another chance to drive.
Frank was great! He notices everything, and provides clear, low-stress instructions and corrections in a way that instills confidence. He was also a pleasure to meet and ride with! We would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn and/or improve their RV driving skills.
Margie D.Mr. Joe Powell was a fabulous instructor. He was calm and patient which gave me confidence and helped me to overcome my fears. I highly recommend Mr, Joe Powell for driving instructions. I drove from NY to Fla just to be able to take lessons and so glad I did! I can now split the driving with my husband which I do now. Very grateful to the RV driving school. You have a gem of an instructor with Mr. Joe Powell
Teri E.I just wanted to let you know that my lessons last week with Mr. Paul Metzinger went extremely well
. He is a very good and knowledgeable instructor. He was very patient with me and worked with my schedule. I learned valuable skills from him that I was able to use on my drive home from Phoenix; I was actually able to help my husband drive with confidence. Thank you so much for the services you offer and for offering such skilled instructors as Mr. Metzinger!

This past weekend I had my RV driving lesson with Wally Olson. I came into the lesson feeling comfortable with the setup/take down of the trailer and with driving “straight ahead”. Wally asked me what my goals were for the lesson and then tailored the instruction to meet those needs – perfect! At the end of the lesson, I was 100% more comfortable with city driving, handling the trailer on hills, and with backing the unit into a campsite. I really liked the fact that he focused the instruction on the things that I identified as most important to me. I am by no means “proficient” at any of these skills, but my confidence level is much higher and I feel good about knowing how to avoid and/or work thru difficult driving situations.I am guessing that most of your clients have a certain amount of anxiety associated with driving their RV. I certainly did. Wally quickly helped ease my nervousness with his calm, positive, friendly, and encouraging teaching style. That made a world of difference in my ability to relax and feel comfortable learning a new skill. I would highly recommend Wally to anyone looking to get more comfortable and proficient with driving their RV. He was great!
Eddie H.Hello, we had are training this pass weekend and was very nervous but Mr. Armstrong put us at ease right away. He was very professional and courteous. Was able to explain driving procedures and maneuvers in such a way that made it fun and understandable. Built our driving confidence up my providing postive feedback. It was a joy working with him and we would recommend him to our family, friends and other Rvers.

My wife & I learned a lot. We are long time trailer & 5th haulers but motor home driving is new to us. We had to navigate through tight & congested area, which what we really needed. Not everything is highway driving. Used the entire 6 hours x 2 days, driving & learning as much as we could.
KEEP LEFT – WATCH YOUR TAIL SWING – SLOWER IS BETTER.
Terry was an excellent instructor. We even went to dinner with Terry & his wife the first evening. Very nice people.
