My wife and I recently purchased our first RV, a 22-foot travel trailer. Having had no previous experience, towing the trailer was somewhat stressful. Last week, I took a lesson in Prior Lake, MN with George Mayleben. It made a huge difference in my confidence and comfort level when towing. George took us through many different driving situations, including mall parking lots, quiet residential streets with little traffic, merging and changing lanes on crowded freeways, busy downtown Minneapolis city streets and narrow streets with cars parked on both sides. When I expressed a concern about gas stations, George took us through 3 different gas stations with different configurations. Of course, we also did a lot of backing. While I am not yet an expert at backing, I feel confident that I can now analyze the situation and know what to do, even if it might still take me a couple of tries. The lesson was well worth the money. My wife’s and my confidence and comfort levels increased
