My husband and I just went fulltime in our new 42 foot motor home. We knew it was very unrealistic to think that he would be the sole driver for the next few years. I enrolled in the RV Driving School course to get some professional driver’s training. I received so much more than I ever expected. My husband got to be the “ride along” during my training. That was a very important element for us as a couple, because he needed to see that I was receiving the kind of training that would make me a partner in the maintenance and driving of our home-on-wheels. I learned how to check the oil, tires, lights, hitches; all before we even went into the coach. I now know what all the gauges and toggle switches are and how to use them. I backed the coach up and we BOTH learned proper hand signals to correctly guide our coach. I learned how to make right and left-hand turns plus how to keep our motor home and tow vehicle in our lane on curvy roads. I learned how to shift gears and use the engine brake going up and down a mountain. I just want to say that now we are a team and the future looks safer as we travel around this beautiful country. Thank you so much RV Driving School.
